Family Chaos — user guide

Everything you need to run your household in Family Chaos.

Your account

When you open Family Chaos for the first time, you create your own account with your name, email, and password. You become your family’s admin: you add children, invite guardians, and manage everything. Nobody else — not even Arken Labs — creates accounts for you.

Kids and guardians

Add one profile per child. Then invite the other grown-ups — the other parent, a grandparent, a nanny — with invite codes you generate. Each person gets their own login; never share yours.

One form per thing

Tap add and pick what it is: a note, a routine, an appointment, or a credential. Each opens its own simple form, so a dentist appointment asks for date and time while a Wi-Fi password asks for the password — nothing generic, nothing confusing.

Credentials need care

Credentials (passwords, PINs, logins) are sensitive. They are only as safe as your account: use a strong, unique password and never share your login. Only store credentials you are comfortable keeping in the app.

Two households

If a child lives in two homes, each household can have its own space, and with both sides’ permission the two sides stay linked so everyone sees the same appointments and routines. Either side can break the link at any time.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account and your family’s data at any time from the app. Deletion is permanent.
